Terms & Conditions

These terms govern every quotation issued and every order accepted by Data Technology FZCO for mobile phone screens and spare parts, whether the enquiry came through www.servicepackdisplay.com, by e-mail or by telephone. By requesting a quotation or placing an order you accept them; terms printed on a customer's purchase order apply only if we have agreed to them in writing.

1. Who we are and who we supply

Data Technology FZCO is a free zone company established in Dubai Airport Free Zone (DAFZA), with its registered office at J-24 Dubai Airport Free Zone, P.O. Box 371237, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (e-mail osiya@datatechno.net, telephone +971 52 923 7659).

We supply trade customers only: repair centres, service workshops, distributors and resellers acting in the course of their business. We do not sell to consumers, and consumer protection rules do not apply to our contracts. We may ask for a trade licence, company registration or VAT number before opening a trade account.

2. The catalogue

The website is a catalogue. It shows part numbers, descriptions, colours and quality tiers so that you can identify what you need; it is not an offer to sell, and no contract is formed by browsing or by submitting an enquiry. Quality tiers used in the catalogue have the following meaning:

Tier labelMeaning
Service packFactory-sealed original replacement module from the manufacturer's service channel
ASMBLD / AssembledOriginal display module assembled into the frame or chassis; not a factory-sealed service pack
RNW / RenewedOriginal screen that has been professionally refurbished and renewed
RPLCDOriginal screen whose front glass has been replaced
A GRADEGraded used original screen; not a new part
CHN ORGOriginal panel from the China market channel
OLED / SOFT OLED / HARD OLEDAftermarket OLED panel of the stated type
INCELLAftermarket in-cell panel
TFTAftermarket TFT panel

Manufacturer names such as Samsung, Apple, Huawei, Xiaomi, Google, Motorola, Oppo, Realme and OnePlus, and their part numbers, are used only to identify the parts and the devices they fit. All trademarks remain the property of their owners.

3. Quotations

Quotations are prepared on request for the part numbers and quantities you specify. A quotation is non-binding: it reflects stock and conditions on the day it is issued, is valid for the period stated on the quotation, and may be withdrawn or revised before we confirm your order. The catalogue does not display stock levels; availability is confirmed with the quotation and stock is allocated only on order confirmation.

4. Orders and order confirmation

A contract comes into existence when we send a written order confirmation or pro-forma invoice for your order. We may decline an order without giving reasons, for example where a part is no longer available or export rules prevent shipment to the destination. Changes or cancellations after confirmation are possible only with our written agreement and, where the goods have already been packed or shipped, against the costs incurred.

5. Payment and retention of title

Payment terms, currency and the method of payment are stated on the order confirmation. Unless credit terms have been agreed in writing, goods are dispatched after the payment has been received in full. Title to the goods remains with Data Technology FZCO until payment in full; risk passes earlier as set out in section 6. Our bank details are communicated only on our invoices; if you receive a message asking you to pay to a different account, confirm it with us by telephone before transferring anything.

6. Delivery, transfer of risk, duties

Goods are shipped from Dubai with DHL, UPS or FedEx and are typically dispatched after order confirmation and receipt of payment. Dispatch and transit times stated by us or by the carrier are estimates and are not of the essence. Risk of loss or damage passes to you when the goods are handed to the carrier; where you collect the goods or use your own forwarder, risk passes on handover at our premises. Unless the order confirmation states a different Incoterm, you are the importer of record and are responsible for import duties, VAT, clearance fees and any licence required in the destination country. We may deliver in instalments, each of which is invoiced separately.

7. Export compliance

Shipments leave a UAE free zone and are subject to UAE export rules and to the sanctions regimes observed by the carriers. You confirm that the goods will not be re-exported to, or used by, any destination or party for which such shipment is prohibited, and you will give us the end-user information a carrier or authority asks for.

8. Inspection, discrepancies and dead-on-arrival parts

Check the shipment on receipt. Shortages, wrong part numbers and transport damage must be reported to us in writing, with photographs of the parcel and the packing list, promptly after delivery and within the period stated on your order confirmation or delivery note.

A part that fails to function when first tested (dead on arrival) can be returned within the dead-on-arrival period stated in your quotation and order confirmation if the following conditions are met:

  • you have requested and received a return authorisation number from us before sending anything back;
  • the part is unused apart from a bench test, with protective films, seals and labels as supplied and in its original service pack or bulk packaging;
  • the part shows no installation damage, no torn or creased flex cable, no pressure marks, no bent frame and no liquid contact;
  • the return is sent with a tracked service to the address given in the return authorisation.

On receipt we test the part. A confirmed DOA is replaced or credited; a part that passes the test is returned to you. Freight for returns and replacements is handled as stated in the return authorisation. Device software notices that appear after a screen or component swap, such as "Unknown Part" or the loss of a calibration feature, result from the device manufacturer's pairing policy and are not a defect of the part.

9. Warranty

Service pack, ASMBLD, RNW, RPLCD, A GRADE and CHN ORG parts are warranted to be genuine manufacturer parts of the tier described in section 2 and to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for the warranty period stated in your quotation and order confirmation. OLED, INCELL and TFT panels are warranted to conform to the tier description in the catalogue for the same period. The warranty does not cover damage caused by installation, by the device itself, by liquid or impact, by modification, or by normal wear, and it does not cover labour, the repaired device or any consequential loss. Our choice of remedy is replacement, repair or credit of the invoiced amount for the affected part.

10. Liability

Our total liability for any order is limited to the amount invoiced for the goods concerned. We are not liable for lost profit, lost business, damage to end-customer devices during repair, or other indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under UAE law, including liability for fraud.

11. Website and content

Descriptions, photographs and compatibility data on the website are provided to help trade customers identify parts and may be corrected at any time. Automated extraction of the catalogue, and reuse of its text or images on other sites, is not permitted without our written consent.

12. Personal data

How we handle contact and shipping data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and every contract concluded under them are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Disputes that cannot be settled amicably are submitted to the courts of Dubai. The English version of these terms prevails over any translation. If a clause is held unenforceable, the remaining clauses stay in force.

14. Changes

We may revise these terms for future orders. The version published on this page at the time of our order confirmation applies to that order. Last revised on 1 October 2026.
